Remember Stage Quiz

Idea

A post-drill recall quiz where the shooter is asked to remember details about the stage they just completed — target positions, number of threats, no-shoot locations, engagement sequence, or other setup details. Tests situational awareness and memory under stress.

Motivation

• Observation and recall are critical skills in defensive shooting, especially for LE and church security
• Most training tools focus exclusively on marksmanship — this fills a gap
• Related to the White light drill concept but applicable to any drill, not just low-light scenarios
• Adds a cognitive training dimension that differentiates RDP from pure score-tracking apps
• Could be optional and toggled per drill or per event

Open Questions

• What format? Multiple choice, free text, checklist of details?
• Who creates the quiz questions — the drill author, auto-generated from drill data, or both?
• Is the quiz score tracked separately or combined with the shooting score?
• How is it administered — immediately after the stage, or with a delay?
• Does this require the drill to have structured stage/target metadata to generate questions from?
• Could pair with the LLM drill designer to auto-generate quiz questions from drill definitions
